I wonder if they took the cat walk & bomb racks out in the center of the bomb bay.. I've been in an oldie B-17 that was on Old US Hwy 99 up around Madesto California. not a lot of room other wise...
That would be an awesome jump; since the only flying B-17's were the ones being used as water bombers by the Forest Service when I lived in Colorado over 11 years ago.
Wrap em' all up in some pigskin and ship them home.
